Pricing
AI accountant pricing: a platform and a finished application, for a flat fee
With Kontír AI a firm is not buying boxed software, and not an empty chatbot it has to bring to life itself. You get ATAILA's private AI platform — operations included — with a finished application on top of it, already tuned for Hungarian bookkeeping. One flat fee, with no usage-based billing.
What you buy
A platform and a finished application — together.
The fee covers two things at once: the platform that runs it, and the industry-tuned product already built on that platform.
The private AI platform
ATAILA's sovereign private AI platform, running on EU hardware with our own AI models and no external AI API. Operations, monitoring and backups are our job — the firm does not need an IT team.
The finished application
Not an empty chatbot the firm has to bring to life with prompts. A finished application, built and fine-tuned for Hungarian bookkeeping: document ingestion, data extraction, NAV reconciliation, posting suggestions, approval queue.
The ability to keep developing
ATAILA Coder and the Release Manager are part of the platform, so the application can still be changed during the contract — through a governed DEV → UAT → PROD release path.
What would the same thing cost from scratch?
Let us be honest about the comparison: if a firm had this same application built on the platform from scratch — specification, development, testing, tuning for the Hungarian chart of accounts and NAV reconciliation — that would be a multi-million-forint bespoke project measured in months, with all the delivery risk that carries.
Here the application already exists and already runs in production. The firm takes over a finished product and only has it shaped to its own way of working — which is what typically takes under a week. The cost and the risk of the build are not the firm's to carry.
The pricing model
A base fee plus a per-client fee. Flat.
One monthly platform base fee per firm, plus a tiered fee for every connected client. A single invoice to the firm, for a predictable amount.
Platform base fee
HUF 390,000
/ month / firm · ≈ €975
The platform, the finished application, operations, updates, the model lifecycle and the living-product customisation capability. One base fee per firm — regardless of how many clients you connect.
Per-client fee
HUF 8,000–15,000
/ client / month · ≈ €20–37
Tiered by the client's monthly document volume: low-volume clients sit at the bottom of the band, high-traffic ones at the top. You only pay for the clients Kontír AI actually handles.
Onboarding and training
HUF 890,000
one-off · ≈ €2,200
Tailoring to the firm's way of working (typically within a week), training for the firm's staff, and the full go-live setup.
On-premise (Enterprise) edition
Individual quote
on the firm's own hardware
The whole system — AI models included — runs on the firm's own hardware. The price depends on the hardware and the size of the firm, so it is always fixed by an individual quote.
All prices are net, excluding VAT.
Pricing is indicative — the final price is fixed in a tailored quote.
12-month contract term.
Flat fee: no token-based or usage-based billing.
Worked examples
How the monthly fee adds up.
Three examples — an indicative calculation, not a binding price list. The formula is always the same: HUF 390,000 base fee + clients × the per-client fee, so you can check it yourself.
| Clients | Platform base fee | Per-client fee (the arithmetic) | Monthly total, net |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 clients | HUF 390,000 | 10 × HUF 8,000–15,000 = HUF 80,000–150,000 | HUF 470,000–540,000 ≈ €1,175–1,350 |
| 50 clients | HUF 390,000 | 50 × HUF 8,000–15,000 = HUF 400,000–750,000 | HUF 790,000–1,140,000 ≈ €1,975–2,850 |
| 100 clients | HUF 390,000 | 100 × HUF 8,000–15,000 = HUF 800,000–1,500,000 | HUF 1,190,000–1,890,000 ≈ €2,975–4,725 |
The bottom of each range assumes every client falls into the lowest document-volume tier, the top assumes every client falls into the highest. Real client portfolios are mixed, so the actual fee lands between the two. The one-off onboarding fee (HUF 890,000) is not included in these totals. Euro figures are indicative conversions.
What does this fee replace?
The preparation hours that today go, client by client and month after month, into manual document entry, categorization and NAV reconciliation — tying up the firm's most expensive resource, its professionals' time, with repetitive manual work.
The time freed up goes to the actual professional work: review, advisory, client relationships — and the firm can take on more clients with the same team. How many hours that means in your firm depends on your client mix and your current workflow, which is why we do not promise a generic percentage: the discovery is part of the quote.
A living product
The software does not freeze at purchase.
With boxed software you get whatever the vendor built into it: your request waits for the next version — if it ever arrives at all. Kontír AI works differently.
ATAILA Coder and the Release Manager are part of the platform, so the application can be customised with AI at any point in its lifecycle — and every change reaches production through a governed release path.
A new field, a new report
Missing a data point in capture, or a breakdown in the management report? It gets built — not in some distant future version, but in the next release.
Changing regulation
When a NAV rule or a tax-law requirement changes, the logic is rewritten and shipped. The product follows the regulatory environment.
A new workflow
If the firm splits work or approves differently, the application follows the firm's process — the firm does not have to bend to the software.
Governed releases
Every change travels the same path: DEV → UAT → PROD. The firm sees and accepts each change in UAT before it ever touches live data.
This is the most important difference from boxed software: you are not buying a closed product but a living one that changes with the firm. The platform base fee includes this capability; larger, bespoke development requests are set out separately in the quote.
Onboarding
On your way of working, within a week.
Onboarding is a one-off HUF 890,000 (≈ €2,200) and covers three things. Tailoring typically takes less than a week — because the application is not being built from scratch.
Discovery and tailoring
We walk through how the firm works: where documents come from, who approves, what the chart of accounts and the client portfolio look like. The application is configured for that way of working — tailoring is typically done within a week.
Training for the firm's staff
Training is part of onboarding, not an add-on. Accountants learn daily use and the approval workflow on their own clients' real documents.
Go-live setup
Users, permissions and clients loaded, the NAV connection configured, then the first clients switched live — so the firm can start working right after training.
Onboarding length varies with the size of the firm and the complexity of the client portfolio — the exact schedule is fixed in the quote.
The language tax
Hungarian text costs more on public AI.
Public AI tools typically bill per token: text is broken into small units, and every unit costs money. Those models, however, were trained overwhelmingly on English text, and their tokenization is optimised for it — the same content in Hungarian breaks into materially more tokens than in English.
That leads to an uncomfortable conclusion: Hungarian-language work is structurally more expensive on token-billed public AI — for exactly the same work done. And the cost grows with use: the more documents the firm processes, the higher the invoice, unpredictably, month after month.
Kontír AI is a flat fee. The invoice contains no usage number: no tokens, no queries, no page counts. It is the same at ten thousand documents as at one thousand — the firm can plan its monthly cost in advance, and nobody has to weigh up whether a second check run is "worth it".
What the base fee includes.
One fee per firm — this is the baseline, not an add-on.
The finished application
The full workflow: document ingestion, data extraction, NAV reconciliation, posting suggestions and the approval queue.
Private AI on EU hardware
Our own AI models, with no external AI API — financial data stays in the country.
SLA-backed operations
Running, monitoring and backing up the platform is our responsibility — none of it lands on the firm.
Model lifecycle
Models are updated, replaced and tuned continuously: the firm always runs current AI, with no separate project.
Updates and new features
Product evolution is part of the base fee — new features arrive during the contract term.
Living customisation
The capability ATAILA Coder and the Release Manager provide: the application can be changed across its whole lifecycle.
GDPR, DPA and audit trail
GDPR compliance, a data processing agreement (DPA), and full traceability of every processing step.
Data export and support
The firm's data belongs to the firm and is exportable at any time; support runs from onboarding through everyday use.
Kontír AI Enterprise
On your own hardware? Individually quoted.
In the Enterprise edition the whole system — AI models included — runs on the firm's own hardware, with full data sovereignty. The prices above apply to the cloud edition; because the build depends on the hardware and the size of the firm, the Enterprise edition is always priced by individual quote.
